Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Village for PSVR 2 will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, becoming the first game for Sony’s new virtual reality headset to be playable at a public event.
The PSVR 2 demo will take users through a section of Castle Dimitrescu, and those of you who go hands-on with the survival horror title will also receive a Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 clear file set, while supplies are available.
Resident Evil Village was originally released for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in May 2021. The game takes place a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7, and sees Ethan Winters travelling to a remote village to rescue his daughter from a nefarious group of elders.
Capcom is also launching Resident Evil Village Gold Edition in October, which includes the full game plus the upcoming Shadows of Rose DLC, new Mercenaries content and a third-person perspective.
