Capcom has revealed during its latest financial report that Resident Evil Village will receive DLC, although what that will consist of has yet to be announced.
The studio previously confirmed that DLC for the critically acclaimed horror title was in the pipeline, didn’t go into any details at the time. However, if this DLC is the same free content mentioned in its Integrated Report 2021, it’s probably nothing too substantial.
We can only speculate as to what Resident Evil Village DLC will be released, but it could be new content for The Mercenaries, extra weapons, or perhaps – if we’re lucky – a new scenario. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard’s Not A Hero mission was free, after all.
Earlier this week, Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil Village has shipped five million copies worldwide.
Resident Evil Village was released in May 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. You can read our full review of the game here.
