Rocksmith+ Will Arrive On PS5 In June 2024

Rocksmith+ is Ubisoft’s re-envisioned version of the guitar-learning rhythm game Rocksmith, that arrived at the tail end of the toy-instrument rhythm game era that lasted most of the 7th console generation.

Now a subscription service rather than a bespoke game, Rocksmith+ is a direct way for people to learn how to play both guitar and piano with lessons and thousands of songs to practice over and over in the classic Rocksmith style, which itself was a rip of Guitar Hero just applied to real instruments.

When it was revealed back in 2021, there was plenty of hope and anticipation that it would be coming to consoles. While it originally only launched on PC and mobile in 2022, nearly two years later it’ll finally arrive on consoles by coming to PS5, on June 6, 2024.

Subscription prices for Rocksmith+ (USD) begin at $14.99/1 month, $39.99/3 months, $99.99/12 months. There’s also a week-long free trial period you can opt into, and if it’s not your bag cancel before the free-trial ends.

If you’ve been waiting for Rocksmith+ to hit the PS5, then you can head to the PlayStation Store to add it to your wishlist, so you’ll be notified when the app will be available to download.
