Fresh details on Max Payne 3’s forthcoming Hostage Negotiation Map Pack have surfaced via publisher Rockstar.
Four new maps are included in the DLC, in addition to a host of new items, weapons and the Filhos De Ogum avatar faction.
Rockstar’s promised intense shootouts for the new Club Moderno and Estadio Do Galatians maps, which take place in a club and a stadium, respectively. Meanwhile, the O Palacio Strip Club and Favela Heights maps take multiplayer to some highly-detailed favela locations.
In terms of weapons, the DLC will offer a M24 Sniper Rifle and the IA2 Assault Rifle, as well as the Explosive Burst for explosive booby traps, the Bomb Suit to shield you against explosive damage, plus slower reload times for your foes courtesy of the Intimidation Mask.
Rockstar has confirmed that the DLC will be released in fall 2012, and will set you back $9.99 on PlayStation Network and 800 Microsoft Points via Xbox LIVE.
"Our apologies to Max Payne fans who’ve been waiting for this one and the other upcoming packs – we’re working hard to bring you this and all the other DLC and should have a release date to announce for this next pack very soon,” said the company.
