Batman: Arkham Origins developer Warner Bros. Montreal is reportedly working on a new open-world IP, according to a series of job ads posted by the studio (via GameSpot).
First up, the company is hiring for a game designer who will be "responsible for designing and driving development of specific features or systems for an open-world action game."
Furthermore, the description for a technical director seems to indicate a release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, stating the candidate will be "working on a new IP project for next generation platforms."
In addition, the role will also require the individual to partake in "scripting languages and design tools of the Unreal Engine."
Warner Bros. Montreal released Batman: Arkham Origins in 2013 for PS3 and Xbox One, briefly taking over the series from creator Rocksteady Studios. However, the game will reportedly not be included in the rumored Arkham Collection for PS4 and Xbox One.
Nothing official regarding Warner’s new title has been announced, though hopefully we’ll hear something before the year’s end.
