Rumor – Call Of Duty Is Getting A Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley Spinoff Campaign

Infinity Ward is reportedly working on a Call of Duty spinoff campaign featuring fan-favourite Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, a character featured in both the 2009 and 2022 versions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

That’s according to a report on WhatIfGaming, which claims that the development team have approached voice actor Samuel Roukin (who replaced original 2009 actor Craig Fairbrass in the role of Ghost) with the prospect of developing the character further beyond Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

We know that Activision will release a premium Call of Duty product in 2023, although Jason Schreier insists this isn’t actually a new game, but rather an expansion to Modern Warfare 2. There’s a chance this could be the Ghost campaign, but we don’t know for sure yet.
