Rumor: Dead Don’t Ride won’t release in 2016, features open-world and black comedy

Sony Bend’s new PlayStation 4 title, rumored to be titled Dead Don’t Ride, is unlikely to be released in 2016, according to industry tipster, Shinobi602.

Posting on NeoGAF, the renowned insider provided a few new tidbits on the upcoming project, which will be Sony Bend’s first title since shipping Uncharted: Golden Abyss back in December 2011.

According to Shinobi, the game will feature an open-world and implement elements of black comedy, as well as featuring zombies and choppers. He also indicated with a hashtag that it’ll be shown at E3 next week.

Obviously we should take this info with a pinch of salt just to be safe, as Sony has not officially confirmed any details on the title. However, Shinobi has a solid track record, so hopefully he’s once again on the money with this.

His comments also align with previous reports on Sony Bend’s new game, which was suggested some time ago to be an open-world affair
