Kojima Productions will launch a Death Stranding Extended Edition for the PS4 and PS5 at some point down the line, according to Navtra, an insider posting on the Resetera thread ‘Good Vibrations.’
“If you’re interested in Death Stranding but haven’t played it yet, it might be worth it to wait a lil bit,” he said, simply adding “yup” in response to whether this comment was referring to Death Stranding Extended Edition.
That’s not all, though. The insider claimed that Death Stranding Extended Edition will feature additional story content, which means a PS5 upgrade would likely mean parting with some of your hard-earned cash.

Obviously this should all be taken with a pinch of salt, as Kojima Productions hasn’t said anything about releasing a Death Stranding Extended Edition at this point. Still, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop if and when we hear anything.
