The developer behind the God of War franchise has hinted that tonight’s PlayStation Meeting may play host to an announcement pertaining to the celebrated hack-’em-up series.
Writing on its official Twitter account (via VG247), the company said, “What does our future hold for tomorrow? We heard they may open Pandoras Box (again) live on stage, that would be AWESOME #playstation2013.”
Could this mean a Kratos-shaped megaton will be dropped at the PlayStation Meeting tonight? We don’t know for certain, but it seems Santa Monica has something up its sleeves.
The company is currently working on God of War: Ascension for PlayStation 3, which hits stores next month. A new God of War game for PlayStation 4 is likely, although the studio hasn’t yet committed anything else beyond Ascension.
