A thread on ResetEra has popped up with news on the as-yet unannounced Life is Strange 3, which is supposedly in development at Life is Strange: Before the Storm developer Deck Nine.
According to info provided by user ‘Bing’ (so take this with a pinch of salt), Life is Strange 3 is being powered by Unreal Engine 4 and will take the form of a five-episodic sequel. The working title internally is supposedly Life is Strange: True Colors, and will apparently be a return to the small-town setting similar to the original game.
The main protagonist is set to be Alex, an Asian-American woman who possesses mind-reading powers. As you’re probably aware, all Life is Strange games feature some form of special power wielded by the main character. Life is Strange 3 was originally meant to be announced last year but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Having said that, the user claims that the game will be announced soon alongside a Nintendo Switch port of Life is Strange.

The original Life is Strange was released episodically in 2015 and was developed by Dontnod Entertainment. Life is Strange 2 followed in 2018 and was again handled by Dontnod, and released across multiple episodes.
As mentioned, there hasn’t been any confirmation about Life is Strange 3 yet, so take all the above information strictly as a rumor for the time being.
