Gaming blog VG247 has posted two low quality, grainy photos of what appears to be a dated version of the PSP2 development kit. The photos suggest that the PSP2 will have front and rear-facing facing cameras, dual analog sticks, a built-in microphone, and a "trackpad" on the back of the device.
The unit in the photos below has form factor like that of the PSP Go—which includes a sliding screen—but VG247 suggests that this is an older version of the dev kit. Apparently, Sony has reverted to a classic PSP brick design in response to overheating issues.
While the photos look anything but legitimate, the features seen on the supposed development kit corroborate similar PSP2 rumors floating around the web. Plus, we were just as skeptical about the first photos of the PS3 Slim—and we all know how that turned out.
