Rumor: Raven working on FPS project, is possibly CoD-related

A job listing unearthed by MCV has indicated that the chaps at Raven are busy chiselling away on an unnamed first-person shooter project, which may or may not be related to the Call of Duty franchise.

The listing itself says that Raven’s “seeking a lead visual effects artist to drive the development of stunning visual effects for an established console-based, realistic, first-person military shooter.”

While this could in fact refer to another franchise entirely, it’s worth pointing out that Raven itself is owned by Activision, who have been publishing the Call of Duty series since its inception in 2003.

Furthermore, Raven’s been rumored to have been working on map packs for Black Ops, which receives its inaugural chunk of DLC – dubbed First Strike – on February 1. Internet gossip also claims the firm is working on a sequel to X-Men Origins and a new Bond game.

More as it breaks.
