Reddit users have been poking and prodding at some of the Resident Evil Village data leaks, discovering that the upcoming survival horror title will feature some form of online mode named Village Online. What’s more, this will reportedly link to the upcoming Resident Evil Outrage.
Village Online will reportedly include multiple characters, skins and booster packs, making it sound a bit similar to Resident Evil Resistance. The fact it will tie into the previously-leaked Outrage is quite interesting, however, although Capcom hasn’t made any official announcement regarding any of this yet.
In case you haven’t been keeping up with Resident Evil lately, a massive Capcom leak last month revealed that a number of new projects are in the works for the series, with Outrage said to be a Revelations 3-type title. Furthermore, it’s the series’ 25th anniversary in 2021, so Capcom is hardly going to let that slide without some major plans.
Resident Evil Village is currently in production for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S and will supposedly launch in April next year.
