Turbine, developers of massively multiplayer games like Dungeons & Dragons Online (PC), and Lord of the Rings Online (PC) are rumored to be working on a new MMO coming to consoles.
This news comes from an official job listing on Turbine’s website and an employee’s resume (which has since been taken off the internet).
The job listing seeks an engineer for console gameplay work on an “"unannounced online console project." and who has “"experience with existing modern game engines supported by the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3."
Nothing much else is known about the project expect that it is Codenamed ‘Project Hendrix’.
Other than DC Universe Online, Free Realms, and the indefinitely delayed Final Fantasy XIV, MMOs on the PlayStation 3 have been slim pickings so far, so any new game in the genre is more than welcomed.
