Rumors regarding the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake have intensified over the weekend as the project’s supposed developer, Virtuous, has linked itself to Konami.
Virtuous has been linked to a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake for a while now, and it’s now listed Konami as a recent client on their official website. It should be noted that both companies have never worked together, and a Reddit user has spotted that the FOX Engine is also listed by Virtuous as tech that the company have experience with.

Back in October last year, an employee at Virtuous said the studio was working on an ‘unannounced Triple-A remake,’ which was heavily speculated to be Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
Konami has been heavily rumored to be working on a revival of the Metal Gear Solid franchise, which aside from the MGS3 remake, will supposedly also include remasters of previous Metal Gear games.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was originally released for the PS2 back in 2004, and takes place during the 1960s as players control Naked Snake on a mission deep within enemy territory. The game introduced a hunger system, where Snake had to catch and eat local wildlife to stay in top shape.
