This isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumours of DLC for God of War Ragnarok, with leaker The Snitch claiming that Sony Santa Monica were working on DLC for the critically acclaimed Norse-flavoured adventure game. Furthermore, a job listing posted by the studio back in August for a combat designer mentioned an “unannounced project,” and specifically mentioned knowledge for the last two God of War games.
God of War Ragnarok was released in November 2022 for PS5 & PS4, and was a huge success both critically and commercially. As such, it’s very unlikely that Sony would want to rest the franchise for a lengthy period of time. For now though, an official announcement has yet to be made.
