According to a listing on IMDB, Sony will be sprucing up the original LittleBigPlanet for the PS5 with a bunch of extra features, known as LittleBigPlanet Remastered. The format holder hasn’t announced anything official yet, and given the source, you should take it with a healthy dose of salt for the time being.

The original LittleBigPlanet came out for the PS3 back in 2008 and was developed by MediaMolecule, and introduced PlayStation fans to the world of SackBoy, who has fronted the series ever since. The game focuses on user-generated content, with players able to construct their own stages and custom gameplay experiences before sharing them with users online.
LittleBigPlanet 2 followed in 2011 also for the PS3 and LittleBigPlanet 3, developed by Sumo Digital, launched for the PS4 and the PS3 November 2014. Unfortunately, Sony delisted LittleBigPlanet 3 from the PlayStation Store on October 31, 2024, so the game is no longer available to purchase digitally.
