Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) is remaining decidedly tight lipped as to how many pre-orders Killzone 2 has snapped up ahead of its impending release on February 27.
The European arm of the electronics giant said last week that Euro pre-orders for the early-awaited Guerrilla Games shooter had topped the one million mark, sparking curiosity as to how the game was performing across the pond.
However, SCEA is apparently keeping mum on the subject, telling VG247.com that the firm doesn’t “provide pre-sales numbers for North America”. Colour us disappointed.
Still, is anyone honestly expecting anything short of a stellar performance in the U.S.? After reading our review, it’s hard to imagine otherwise. Stay tuned for our verdict on Killzone 2’s multiplayer component in the near future.
