Screencheat forces cheating on PS4, funny trailer introduces unique FPS

The team at Samurai Punk obviously have a sense of humor. That much is known from the following trailer which introduces a new PS4 and Xbox One game called Screencheat.

Supporting local and co-op multiplayer, Screencheat is a competitive, split-screen shooter where players are invisible. The twist is that the screen is split into quadrants allowing you to see the movements of your opponents, so you’re forced to cheat to work out where the hell they are on the map! Different areas are color-coded, which should help.

From a blunderbuss to a car engine that fires energy balls, the game features a variety of one-hit kill weapons and different game modes, including Deathmatch and Capture The Fun, which involves holding onto a piñata for as long as possible before dying.

Screencheat launched on Steam last year and it appears like the unique concept went down very well with players. The PS4 version will launch on March 1 as a digital download from the PlayStation Store.
