Sea Of Thieves And Helldivers 2 Top The PS5 April 2024 Download Charts In The EU And US/Canada

The PlayStation Blog has published its monthly report of which games topped the download charts on PS5, PS4, PSVR1/2, and which Free-to-Play games players are downloading.

For March 2024, it was Arrowhead’s democracy spreading Helldivers 2 that had the top spot on PS5 downloads in the EU and in the US/Canada.

April however sees Helldivers 2 knocked out of the top spot – for the EU, at least, where the Xbox Game Studios published Sea Of Thieves has taken the top spot.

Helldivers 2 however remained the most downloaded PS5 game in the US/Canada, with second place going to Stellar Blade and Sea Of Thieves coming third in the US/Canada. In the EU, Stellar Blade came fourth behind Grand Theft Auto V in second and Helldivers 2 in third.

Xbox had another game in the top 10 for PS5 downloads with Grounded appearing in the number 9 spot in the US/Canada and at number 8 in the EU.

Over on the PS4 side of things, it was Fallout 4, in the US/Canada and in the EU, that took the top spot, as the tv show’s success continues to translate into more people playing the games.

Fallout 76 also made it into the top 10 for US/Canada and the EU. Also, it’s worth noting that while Xbox did have two of the four games it recently brought to PlayStation appear in the top charts, Hi-Fi Rush was absent in March’s charts, the month it launched in, and the April charts.
