Blooper Team has acknowledged the PS5 Pro issues currently impacting Silent Hill 2 Remake, announcing that it is working on a fix.

Responding to a user on X regarding the ongoing issues with the game on Sony’s high-end console, the studio simply responded, “We’re working on it!.” This isn’t the only game to run into some problems on PS5 Pro; Star Wars Jedi Survivor also experiences some notable issues, which are also being looked into.

Silent Hill 2 Remake was released for the PS5 and PC in October 2024, and is a full-fledged remake of the classic 2001 psychological horror title originally developed by Team Silent. The game follows James Sunderland, who travels to the titular, foggy town after receiving a letter from his late wife, Mary, calling him to meet her in their ‘special place.’

Bloober Team announced in mid-October that Silent Hill 2 Remake had sold over one million copies sold, and later revealed that it isn’t ruling out making more Silent Hill games in the future.
