Dealabs has reported that Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 Remake is one of the games that will form the PS Plus Extra & Premium October 2025 games lineup.
Nothing official has been announced by Sony yet, but according to the report, Silent Hill 2 Remake will join PS Plus Extra on October 21, presumably alongside the rest of the lineup. Silent Hill 2 Remake was originally released for the PS5 and PC in October 2024, and with Halloween coming up, its reported inclusion on PS Plus Extra is pretty timely.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is a ground-up retelling of Konami’s PS2 2001 psychological horror classic, completely overhauling the game’s visuals with sumptuously-rendered environments and character models that take advantage of the power of current hardware. While the game offers a faithful retelling of Silent Hill 2, it expands on the narrative with new scenes and dialogue with a brand new voice cast, while locations and puzzles have been greatly enhanced over the source material so that even veteran fans will be in for a challenge.
Recently, noted horror insider Dusk Golem claimed that Bloober Team is working on an expansion for Silent Hill 2 Remake, Born From A Wish, which was previously included in the Director’s Cut of the original game. A PS5 Pro patch is also in the pipeline.
