The PlayStation Store listing for Silent Hill 2 Remake has confirmed that the game will support PS5 Pro enhancements, although at the time of writing developer Bloober Team hasn’t revealed any details.
Sony’s new powerhouse console is out today and is able to hugely improve the performance of games with the PS5 Pro Enhanced label, although it has been revealed that the Game Boost feature is also able to bring about its own enhancements without the need for any patch. Gran Turismo 7 is one such example, which is able to run at a native 4K/120 FPS on PS5 Pro without an update.

Silent Hill 2 Remake was released for PS5 and PC last month, and uses Unreal Engine 5 to completely overhaul the classic 2001 psychological horror title from the ground up. Like the original PS2 game, Silent Hill 2 Remake follows James Sunderland as he travels to the foggy town after receiving a letter from his late wife, Mary, calling him to their ‘special place.’ You can read our full Silent Hill 2 Remake review here.
