Konami has revealed that its latest spook ‘em up Silent Hill: Downpour will be soaking store shelves this autumn.
Currently under hammer and nail at Vatra games, the sequel – formally known as Silent Hill 8 – focuses on escaped convict Murphy Pendleton as he stumbles across the eponymous town after his prison van crashes.
In a first for the series, composer Daniel Licht (of Dexter fame) will take helm of the game’s haunting score in place of long-time franchise music maestro, Akira Yamaoka.
