Target has posted up a preorder listing for a PS5 version of SnowRunner, indicating developer Saber Interactive is looking to release a dedicated physical release of the game on Sony’s latest home console.
Right now there’s no release date as the listing only features a placeholder, but usually when this ort of thing happens there’s an official announcement just around the corner.
Last year, it was confirmed during the reveal of SnowRunner’s 2022 roadmap that the studio was working on a next-gen version of the game, although no date as provided at the time. Upcoming content includes cosmetics, Cross-Play, Immersive Mode, a new expansion, and more.
SnowRunner was released for PS4, PC, and Xbox One in April 2020, and you can read our full verdict on the game here. The game received mod support for the PS4 version back in December 2020.
