Format holder Sony has revealed that it is reviewing feedback based on PS4 party changes made last week, after the console’s latest firmware update was met with heavy criticism from users.
PS4 Party Changes Prompt Sony To Review User Feedback
PS4 firmware update 8.00 added a bunch of key changes for the console, among which included the Party and Messages apps being linked together. This wasn’t met with overwhelming enthusiasm from users, as voice chats are now require to take place through a permanent group.
Sony posted the following message on Twitter, confirming that it’s now looking into user feedback:
Hey folks – just wanted to let you know that we’re looking into your feedback on the recent changes to Parties on PS4.
Thanks for speaking up – we’ll keep you posted
Sony also confirmed that PS5 users will be able to record audio of voice chats and send them to Sony to report abusive behaviour.
