Sony’s Jim Ryan has confirmed that the PS4 will continue to be supported for the next 3 to 4 years.
In an interview with the Washington Post, Jim Ryan stated that he expects four years of PS4 support after the PS5 launches with Sony showing their support for the console for that period of time. This is great news for those who aren’t upgrading consoles straight away and look to upgrade in the coming years.
