Over the past few years, Sony has built strong relationships with Indie Developers, allowing them to develop, publish, and release their games on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. By allowing these developers to self-publish on the PlayStation Network, the PS3 has seen some of the best Indie games come exclusively to Sony’s platforms like Guacamelee, Echochrome, and Journey.
Now, with E3 just days away, Sony is showing its love for the Indie Developers once again by giving them new designer T-Shirts with a slogan aiming to lure them away from their competitors. The Slogan is simply: "No Hurdles, Just Games".
Brian Provinciano creater of Retro City Rampage recently spoke with IGN, explaining why he enjoys developing for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita and spoke of Microsoft’s "intimidation corporate vibe". On Provinciano’s Twitter page, Provinciano showed off his new shirt.
E3 is just a few days away, with Sony promising to show more than 40 games. With more Indie Developers praising Sony’s "gamer’s first" approach this year it should be an exciting year for gamer’s to experience what Indie Developers, along with the Triple-A studios, deliver in the next generation.
