Sony will be hosting its next State of Play on Thursday, but it seems the PlayStation console maker isn’t stopping there, as it has indicated it has more up its sleeves for later this Summer.
That’s at least according to Sid Shuman on the PlayStation Blog, who while not outlining any specific plans for PS5 and PS4 owners, did suggest there’s more in the pipeline. Another State of Play later this Summer perhaps? We can only hope so.
“Stay tuned throughout the summer, as we’ll have more updates soon,” he said. And that’s your lot, sadly. Yes, it’s not much to go on, but it’s a tantalising teaser nonetheless.
Now, how about lifting the wraps off that long-rumored Silent Hill revival, eh Sony?

As for Thursday’s State of Play, Sony has already confirmed two games that won’t be there – God of War Ragnarok and Horizon: Forbidden West. Still, we’ve got Deathloop to look forward too, plus updates on ne indie and third-party titles.
Still, with a number of major exclusives delayed into 2022, including Gran Turismo 7 and the aforementioned God of War sequel, it would be nice to hear a bit more about them before the end of the year. Hopefully we may get more details this Summer, just to tide us over.
