Sony Reportedly Has Unannounced Hardware Coming Out Before The PS5 Pro

According to Tom Henderson, Sony Interactive Entertainment is working on new hardware other than the previously-rumored PS5 Pro that may be with us sooner rather than later.

Speaking during a recent stream, Henderson commented, ‘There’s also another piece of Sony hardware that will be released before the [PS5] Pro I’m likely to talk about very soon. There’s more hardware coming from Sony than what has been reported on.”

It’s worth remembering that Henderson has already reported on a separate piece of hardware other than PS5 Pro, namely a revised PS5 that features a detachable disc drive. This is supposedly going to launch later this year, so it sounds like Henderson’s post is referring to this.

Speaking of PS5 Pro, Henderson claimed in a report on Insider-Gaming that the system will be released in late 2024.
