Sony says Bloodborne is an ‘invaluable’ PS4 release

Speaking during an interview with MCV, Sony’s Joe Palmer labelled Bloodborne as an ‘invaluable’ addition to the PlayStation 4’s ever-growing library of software.

Palmer, who serves as Product Manager for PlayStation U.K., said that the "the Souls games are phenomenally popular, so ensuring that fans are aware of the common ground they share with Bloodborne is a vital part of our strategy.

However, it’s not just the similarities with previous From Software games that we want to communicate," he added. "How Bloodborne differs from the Souls series will be at the forefront of our communications. Bloodborne provides a great chance for us to tap into a highly engaged audience and provide an invaluable contribution to PS4."

Bloodborne was developed by From Software, the same studio behind the critically acclaimed Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls. The game recently hit gold status ahead of its release on March 24 in the U.S. and March 27 in the U.K.
