SEGA’s Sonic CD has nabbed the top spot on the list of best-selling PlayStation Network titles for December 2011.
The classic platformer, originally released on Mega CD back in 1993, beat out competition from the likes of inFamous 2: Festival of Blood, NBA JAME: On Fire Edition and PAYDAY: The Heist.
Other top performers include Resident Evil 4 and Mortal Kombat: Arcade Kollection, which remain in the Top Ten despite launching back in September 2011.
RPGs seem to be the flavour of the month over on the PSOne Classics front, however, with Square Enix occupying no less than four of the top five positions.
