Jeff Grubb has claimed that Sony’s long-rumoured September State Of Play broadcast, which is meant to happen next Tuesday, may feature a remaster that is ‘even less exciting’ than Horizon Zero Dawn’s recently-outed PS5 overhaul.
Speaking in the latest episode of Game Mess Mornings, Grubb claimed that the State Of Play will take place on September 24, and that it is possible the Horizon remaster will feature there. However, he also added the following:
There’s some other remaster in the works that will be even less exciting – and it’s definitely not Bloodborne. State of Play, right? It’ll probably get announced there.

Bloodborne Remastered would obviously fall into the category of very exciting for most of us I think it’s safe to assume, and unfortunately, Grubb added that he hasn’t heard anything about Sony doing anything with the series despite it being its 10th anniversary. There’s no clue as to what game Grubb its referring to above, but it’s obviously just his opinion as to what qualifies as ‘less exciting’ in this context. We’ll just have to wait and see.
