Ubisoft Toronto is still beavering away on the Splinter Cell Remake as a number of job openings have been spotted, confirming the project is still staffing up despite having been announced back in 2021.
As picked up by Insider Gaming, one of the job listings for a Producer, who will “take part in recruitment to build your team + foster the professional growth and career progression of its talents.” In addition, the role also requires the candidate to be “able to deliver their chunk of the game on time and in a supportive environment.”
Another job listing is for a Team Lead Level Designer, which mentions “support onboarding and hiring efforts to help maintain team cohesion and effectiveness.”
Ubisoft Toronto hasn’t shared much of any details on the Splinter Cell Remake, although back in July a Ubisoft data miner claimed that the project is targeting a Q2 — Q4 2027 launch, but noted the game is in a “fragile state right now.” Ubisoft Toronto was hit by layoffs earlier this year, with 40 staff members losing their jobs although Splinter Cell Remake was confirmed as still being in the works.
The Splinter Cell Remake has yet to be given an official release date by Ubisoft.
