Square Enix filed a trademark for something called Unnumbered on June 9, 2022 in Japan, and the trademark just went public today.
Spotted by Gematsu on Twitter, all we know of the trademark is the title, and a simple image of the title against a white background.

There’s also the fact that Square has more than a few things already on the go that it will want to dedicate more time to in the short term, like Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2, and of course Final Fantasy XVI.
In fact, we’ll be getting more Final Fantasy news later today, as a celebration livestream for Final Fantasy VII is due to start at 3pm PT / 6pm ET / 11pm BST.
A rumour is even going around that Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Remastered will be announced during today’s livestream.
