The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta kicks off on October 4 for those who have preordered the game on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and now some fresh details have been leaked.
From Reddit, a poster by the name of Some_Info has revealed details on Star Wars Battlefront 2 maps, Heroes and vehicles in the beta, which will be available to everyone on October 6, 2017.
The file size he says will be 14-16Gb and the maps will include:
- Galactic Assault on Theed – 40 players
- Space Battles on Thonder – 24 players
- Strike on Takodana in solo, or two-player co-op and split-screen
EA DICE has already revealed some details about the beta for Star Wars Battlefront 2:
“You’ll be able to experience some of the best of Star Wars Battlefront II across iconic planets and into the far reaches of space. Get set to dive into Naboo: Theed in Galactic Assault. Join Republic clone troopers and Separatist battle droids in a wild melee on the streets surrounding the royal palace, where you’ll take control of some of your favorite heroes.”
There will also be a multiplayer Starfight Assault battle, which was confirmed by EA a few months ago.
Other details revealed include the appearance of the LAAT gunship, and the ability to get credits and accumulate Star Cards. The leaker also says the same Heroes will be available from the same build at EA Play, which include Darth Maul, Yoda, Kylo Ren, Rey and Luke Skywalker. The bad news is that progress will be reset prior to the official Star Wars Battlefront 2 release date.
