Legendary Studios and Capcom have officially announced the cast and release of their upcoming Street Fighter movie. Though some roles have already been formally unveiled, the rest of the cast and characters set to appear have gotten a full reveal via a Press Release.
Unveiling the cast in a retro Street Fighter 2 character select screen it’s an innovative way to announce the cast:

- Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog
- Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim
- Mel Jarnson as Cammy
- Orville Peck as Vega
- Olivier Richters as Zangief
- Hirooki Goto as E. Hond
- Jason Momoa as Blanka
- Rayna Vallandingham as Juli
- Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki
- Eric André as Don Sauvage
- Kyle Mooney as Marvin
The announcement came with a synopsis of the movie, and it’s looking to be a period piece:
Set in 1993, estranged Street Fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are thrown back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament: a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury. But behind this battle royale lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face off against each other and the demons of their past. And if they don’t, it’s GAME OVER!
Though the cast of fighters looks solid, some classic and long-standing characters, such as Sagat and Fei Long, are absent. The movie is set to release on October 16th, 2026.
