Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League went a long while without an update, until Rocksteady broke the silence with pre-orders going live and a video deep-diving on the gameplay and the story.
Now, the studio has announced a closed alpha coming up that’ll run from November 30, 2023 to December 4, 2023 beginning at 6am PT / 9am ET / 12pm BST and ending at 12am PT / 3am ET / 8am BST.
You can register for the closed alpha right now, and then hope you’ll be invited to join the alpha, as registering doesn’t guarantee you’ll get a spot.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League had an improved showing last week with the first of four episodes of what Rocksteady calls the Suicide Squad Insider series, showcasing more about the story and new gameplay, narrated by the development team.
With a February release date approaching in little more than two months, this series could be Rocksteady’s last chance to change the tone around Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, after its live service aspects left a bad taste in the mouths of previously eager fans.
The reality is that there hasn’t been a superhero game Rocksteady has put it’s name to that hasn’t been excellent to date, and while Kill The Justice League may never be able to outshine the excellent Arkham series, it’s still too early to count the London-based studio.
Hopefully an open beta will soon follow this closed alpha, and more players can play it for themselves, and see if Rocksteady’s still got it.
