Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’s Support Ends January 2025 With Final Content Update

In our post covering the Season 4 update to Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, we posited that alongside the update’s actual release, which is set for tomorrow at time of writing, we’d get the confirmation that Warner Bros. is pulling the plug, and there will be no more content developed for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.

Well, it would seem that we didn’t even have to wait for tomorrow, since shortly after we published that post, Warner Bros. and Rocksteady confirmed that yes, Season 4 is the final season for Kill The Justice League, and after the mid-season update arrives on January 14, 2025, there will be no more content updates coming.

“With Deathstroke joining the roster, the Suicide Squad’s crusade against Braniac is drawing to an end. Season 4 will finish up with Episode 8, which is scheduled to release in January 2025, and that will serve as the last seasonal Episode for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League,” reads a blog post on the game’s website.

“While Season 4 Episode 8 will mark the final battle against Brainiac, all online features will continue to be available, so you’ll still be able to enjoy co-op with friends, as well as all previous seasonal/episodic content. You’ll also have the option to play the game via the new Offline mode, which allows access to the main story campaign and all post-launch seasonal gameplay content without an internet connection.”

Tomorrow’s Season 4 update will add an offline mode, so players will still be able to play the game even after online servers are taken down, but for now those online features will remain available.

Per the Offline Mode FAQ, so long as you have all the content updates downloaded, you’ll be able to experience everything Kill The Justice League has to offer save for multiplayer and social features.

So that’s it then for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. A disappointing return for Rocksteady to be sure, hopefully its next outing is far stronger.
