Take-Two has said during its latest financial call overnight that it has a number of unannounced properties currently in development, possibly hinting at a sequel to Red Dead Redemption 2.
The publishing powerhouse also said that it has multiple projects in the works based on its successful franchises, as well as branching out into new IP territory.
“Users can expect new annual releases from our NBA and WWE 2K series, as well as exciting, yet to be announced titles from other popular franchises," said the firm.
"Looking further ahead, we have a robust pipeline of titles in development, including ground breaking new intellectual properties, and new releases from our proven franchises. For example, we can confirm that 2K and Gearbox software will develop an all new Borderlands game built specifically for next-gen consoles.
In addition, we have numerous unannounced titles in development, as well as innovative offerings designed to maximize player engagement and drive recurring consumer spending.
We have more to announce about our future line-up in the coming months."
Red Dead Redemption 2 has been rumored for some time now, with Rockstar recently describing the sequel as ‘a matter of timing.’
During the same call, Take-Two announced that GTA V had sold-in 45 million units worldwide, with the current-generation versions notching up some 10 million copies.
