Supermassive Games‘ The Dark Pictures looks ready to embrace science-fiction horror with its next instalment, with a teaser found in its latest entry, The Devil In Me, revealing something called Directive 8020.
Traditionally, Supermassive Games has included a short teaser for the next The Dark Pictures game at the end of the current release, and this latest game is no different, with Direction 8020 presumably being the Season Two premiere.
This also ties in with five trademarks that Supermassive Games registered in Europe this year, with Directive 8020 being one of them.
The trailer features a character known as Commander Stafford, who is sending a transmission from a vessel called the Cassiopeia, who notes “spirits are high” after the ship rendezvous with something known as the Charybdis marker. There’s more voiceovers to be heard, with things starting to get a little more creepy.
It’s all open for interpretation at this point. Check out the trailer below.
