Geoff Keighley has announced on Twitter that The Game Awards 2015 will play host to 10 world premieres.
This isn’t likely to come as a surprise to many gamers, as the awards, which were previously known as the Spike Video Game Awards and later VGX, have been known for their show-stopping game reveals. In past years, we’ve seen the likes of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Batman: Arkham City announced at the events. What could this year’s event have in store? Keighley’s not saying, but we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
10 world premieres. 10 on-stage awards. @thegameawards 2015 next Thursday night live.

The Game Awards 2015 take place on December 3 at 9.00pm EST/6.00pm PST. Sony’s own Bloodborne is up for Game of the Year, which Shuhei Yoshida unsurprisingly feels is very deserving of the accolade. Check out the full list of nomiations. It’s quite a busy week for major gaming events, as Sony’s annual PlayStation Experience will also take place later that week, which is likely to play host to a number of surprise announcements of its own. Be sure to have a gander at the full list of playable games for PSX to see if there’s anything that tickles your fancy.
Sony released a teaser trailer to drum up hype for PSX yesterday, so check it out if you haven’t already done, or aren’t quite feeling stoked for the event just yet (hint: you should be).
