Supermassive Games has announced a release date for its upcoming PlayStation VR projects, The Inpatient and Bravo Team.

First up, the Inpatient is scheduled to ship on November 22, 2017 for Sony’s virtual reality headset. The game is a prequel to Supermassive’s critically acclaimed teen horror romp, Until Dawn, and takes place during the 1950s in the Blackwood Sanitorium, which at this point in time is in its prime.

Much like Until Dawn, The Inpatient retains a distinct horror vibe sprinkled with some hair-raising psychological elements, with players controlling a patient who has no knowledge of who he is or how he ended up in Blackwood.

Elsewhere, the developer also confirmed that Bravo Team will be released on December 6, 2017.

The game takes the form of a first-person shooter built for teamwork, and features a single-player and two-player cooperative mode. Bravo Team’s war-torn locations were inspired by various action movies, with its Eastern European battleground setting the tone for adrenaline-fuels, tactical shootouts.

Bravo Team can be played using the regular DualShock 4 and PlayStation Move controllers, but Supermassive has tailor-made the game for use with the Aim peripheral.

As you can see VR is something we are very excited about at Supermassive Games. Last year we were the only independent studio to release two PS VR launch titles – Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and Tumble VR – and we’ve been delighted with the response to both games. We’ve taken a lot of the learnings from those games into The Inpatient and Bravo Team and can’t wait for you to play them.”
