Sony’s long-delayed The Last Guardian made an unexpected ‘appearance’ of sorts at the Taipei Game Show 2015 over the weekend.
The game’s former Executive Producer, Yasuhide Kobayashi, was in attendance at the event to celebrate his 20 years with PlayStation.
Kobayashi-san, who has since left Sony to start up a project with Smile Connect E!, was asked to give a message to his fans, which is when things started to get interesting.
In response to this request, he spelled out the words ‘Hitokui no Toriko,’ which is the Japanese title for The Last Guardian.
He commented: "Everyone loves these words too, isn’t it? Truly, I wonder when it’ll be time. I want it to be soon."
The Last Guardian was announced at E3 2009 and has been in development hell ever since, although Sony has assured us that the project is still in the works.
Recently, the game’s creator, Fumito Ueda, hinted that the game has been moved to PlayStation 4.
