The Last Of Us HBO Season 2 Filming Is ‘Going Amazing,’ Says Pedro Pascal

Pedro Pasal has told Deadline that filming of HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2 is ‘going amazing,’ although it’s worth keeping in mind that we won’t actually be seeing him in action until early 2025.

Filming is going amazing. It’s sort of awe-inspiring the kind of focus and dedication that everyone has going into Season Two. It’s incredible to be back home with them and creatively and everybody, our entire crew, they’re working harder than I could even imagine, even harder than our first season which is close to impossible. It’s pretty inspiring and unbelievable and this (his award) is because of them.

The first season of The Last of Us HBO aired in early 2023 and was a huge success both in terms of critical reception and ratings, with the seres picking up eight Creative Arts Emmys, while Nick Offerman picked up the awards for Outstanding Guest Actor.

The second season of The Last of Us HBO will depict the events of The Last of Us Part 2, although it won’t cover all of that game’s events. Showrunner Craig Mazin confirmed that it will be split into two seasons, so we’re getting at least one more season of The Last of Us after this.
