The latest UK chart data has revealed that critically-panned The Lord of the Rings: Gollum debuted at number six in the multi-format physical chart, with the game selling best on the PS5.
It should be noted however that the Middle-earth adventure game didn’t really sell all that much despite its chart position, but still managed to record a better physical launch than LEGO 2K Drive, which has since dropped to 13th place.
Meanwhile, the chart is full of the usual staples, including The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, FIFA 23, and Hogwarts Legacy.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been universally panned by reviewers, and is Metacritic’s worst-rated game of the year so far. PSU has now published its own review of Daedalic Entertainment’s title, so be sure to read our verdict here.
