PlayStation Move already has its fair share of accessories that aim to make your motion-sensing experience even more realistic. And there is an element of fun to be had out of slotting your Move controller into a gun-shaped peripheral and pretending your John Wayne for a couple of hours. How about this though? CTA Digital has now developed something a little different for PlayStation Move, similar to an accessory it launched on Wii a couple of years back.
CTA’s new Bowling Ball accessory apparently “provides a natural way for channelling that accuracy to your advantage by playing as you would in real life.” The Bowling Ball, available in bright blue, features a window on the front to allow the PS Eye Camera to recognise its movements. If you’re worried about tossing it accidentally through your television set, you needn’t be – the Bowling Ball has a wrist strap to avoid such accidents and it sports “6 extra silicone finger slots to accommodate different sized fingers,” so you should be able to grip it sturdily.
The Bowling Ball, due for release on April 23, costs $29.99 USD and will be compatible with any bowling game, including Brunswick Pro and High Velocity Bowling. Are you bowled over?
