David F Sandberg News Peter Stormare PS5 Until Dawn Until Dawn Movie

The Until Dawn Movie Isn’t Actually Adapting The Game’s Story, Instead Featuring All-New Characters & Plot

Details on the Until Dawn movie have emerged out of CES 2025 this week, revealing the horror flick won’t actually adapt the source material, but rather tell an original story with new characters.

Peter Stormare is the only actor set to reprise his role in the Until Dawn movie, having appeared in the game as Dr. Alan J. Hill. He appeared on stage at CES to tease the movie, where he stated that the move will take pace in the Until Dawn universe, albeit weaving its own narrative.

Until Dawn is being directed by David F. Sandberg of Shazam fame, and will star Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Ji-young Too, and Odessa A’zion. The game featured a number of well-known stars including Rami Malek and Hayden Panettiere, but aside from Stormare, it looks like no one else is reprising their roles for the film.
