The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has quickly become one of this generation’s most anticipated titles. CD Projekt RED has released a new gameplay teaser at Gamescom to show off the game’s progress.
The teaser starts off with the game’s protagonist, Geralt of Rivia, walking up to a village. He learns of the village’s troubles and sets off to find out what is causing the death and disappearance of its residents. As Geralt sets off to his destination, he is attacked by creatures that live in the swamp. The trailer demonstrates the game’s improved combat system, in which Geralt uses attacks, dodges, and magical signs to dispatch his foes.
The teaser also demonstrates The Witcher 3’s inventory system. Geralt once again uses meditation to prepare himself for combat by changing his equipment and consuming potions before moving forward to confront a Werewolf.
