CD Projekt RED is reportedly looking to sell 11 million copies of the new, as-yet unannounced DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, according to Polish analyst Mateusz Chrzanowski.
As reported by X account The Witcher 4 news, the upcoming DLC is set to retail for around $30 and features a budget of $14.5 million. Furthermore, the analyst predicts that the expansion will also ignite the proper marketing cycle for the highly anticipated The Witcher IV.
Chrzanowski had previously leaked the existence of new DLC for The Witcher 3 earlier this year, where he claimed the expansion would arrive in May 2026. Furthermore, a Polish games leaker named Borys Nieśpielak had stated last year that the DLC was in the works at developer Fool’s Theory, the same studio that is working on The Witcher Remake.
CDPR has not officially announced any new DLC for The Witcher 3, and it’s quite interesting that they are choosing to do so 11 years after the game initially released. Hopefully we’ll get an official reveal soon enough.
The Witcher IV was announced during 2024’s The Game Awards, and CDPR has said that the project is not going to see the light of day until after 2026. Meanwhile, it has been reported that the remake of The Witcher has been delayed until 2028.
